Commission Details

General:

Payment

• Cash or Paypal Only (prices in USD)

• 50% Down Payment

• No refunds unless we feel we erred and/or couldn’t complete your commission

Process

• Send us the details (be specific!) and we’ll probably ask for more details or send our price. Upon reaching agreement, the 50% down payment is required before moving further

  • Reference images are helpful, may send in desired design for papercut

• Not accepting anything NSFW

• We have the right to refuse requests for any reason

• 3 changes free before permanent steps (permanent steps include inking, coloring, cutting)

  • We’ll send updates via email/select social media, please respond promptly

• Please be patient

• We will not make any edits/changes after the artwork is delivered

Art Specific:

• Headshots/Avatars (stylized, neck up) – $7

• Anime/Stylized – $10-20+

• Realistic – $10-35+

(Prices vary due to: art style, color, complexity, size, materials, background, sketch v. finals)

We focus on humanoid art, but we’re flexible!

Finished Product = Digital File (for cases in which we offer the original, shipping/handling is not included in the price)

Papercut Specific:

• Base Price – $8 (simple index card design)

Price increases due to: complexity, size

Shipping/Handling fee not included in price

Artist’s Rights

• Artwork copyrights retained by the Artist

• We can

  • Reproduce & sell the art in the future

  • Upload the drawing to our Social media/webpage, watermarked to mention it’s a commission and (if applicable) that an original character/design is yours

  • Use the drawing to promote DancingbearCo and our commissions

• However, we’ll respect and keep private/not sell art with personally identifying subjects (i.e. realistic portraits) upon request

Your Rights

• These creations are for personal use only and will retain our watermark (the artist’s signature)

• You can

  • Re-upload the drawing to any personal or Non-Profit Social media/webpage (giving the Artist/DancingbearCo credit)

  • Print or use the art on personalized/custom items that will not be sold commercially (without removing the watermark)

  • Use the drawing as a profile photo/image/avatar on personal and non profit pages (Facebook profile photo, Deviantart, Twitter image, etc)
